Supervisory Board Finles

Dr. Bernhard R. Bot, president non-executive board
Dr. Bot recently joined Finles as the president of the non-executive board. Before joining Finles he held various positions in the service of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 1986 -1989 he was Ambassador of the Netherlands to Turkey. He then served as Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague until 1992. Between 1992 and 2003 he was Permanent Representative of the Netherlands to the European Union in Brussels. He was the Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2003 – 2007.

Dolf van der Weij, member non-executive board
Mr. Van der Weij is the founder of Finles. He retired in 1996. Recently he joined Finles as a non-executive board member. In this role Mr Van der Weij provides advice on general policy and strategic issues.

Jaap Tick, member non-executive board
He has had a successful career in financial and quality management. Currently involved in various projects as interim / project manager, he mainly deals with procurement, financial restructuring and the launch of quality management systems. Previously he was part of the line management at various companies in consultancy and insurance, where he mainly focused on efficiency gains through IT systems. Mr Tick started his career at Delta Lloyd, where he became managing director in the life insurance business. Mr. Tick holds a Masters degree at Business Economics and a master degree in Accounting (CPA).

Supervisory Board Funds

Clayton Heijman, chairman Funds Supervisory Board
Mr. Heijman started his carreer as Department Manager at Kas-Associatie. After several positions at various companies he became executive director at Fortis Bank in 2005. Mr. Heijman is currently managing director at an international bank, where he is also responsible for alternative investments. Mr. Heijman is a Council Member of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) where he is responsible for the Netherlands. Mr. Heijman holds a Masters degree at Business Administration.

Jaap Tick, member of the Funds Supervisory Board

Paul Hendriks, member of the Funds Supervisory Board
Mr. Hendriks is an associate partner of Corporate Connect and is currently active in the advisory about and fundraising of alternative investment products. He has enjoyed an impressive international career in the investment industry. In his career mr. Hendriks held several positions at UBS investment Bank in the Netherlands and the UK, as a Dutch Equity Analyst at Kleinwort Benson Securities in London and he was Head of European Equity sales at ABN AMRO London. Mr. Hendriks has extensive knowledge of investment products in general and absolute return products in particular. Mr. Hendriks is a Master of Business Administration.

Bart van Hedel, member of the Funds Supervisory Board
Mr. van Hedel has extensive experience in corporate finance. Currently he owns BeeBird Corporate Finance, where he advises companies on strategic and financial issues, mergers and acquisitions. Previously he was a board member and partner at Paribas Private Equity. At Kempen & Co, Mr van Hedel was a board member; his portfolio consisted of investments, legal and fiscal affairs. He started his career at Nobel & Van Wierst tax advisors where he became partner. Mr van Hedel holds a Masters degree in Fiscal Economics.
